Already a successful physician, researcher and professor in her native country, Dr. Ranjbaran obtained her US medical license while continuing in those roles at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago Illinois. "I chose this specialty because we treat the patient as a whole individual. Our goal is to improve the patient's function that has been affected by the disease or injury and help put their life back together."

Dr. Ranjbaran works with patients of all ages in the areas of: sports-related injuries; back, neck, foot or nerve pain; arthritic and osteoporosis conditions; neurological conditions such as stroke, brain or spinal cord injury; and others conditions that affect a person's ability to function.

Free time finds Dr. Ranjbaran outside, running, hiking and spending time with her family. As a specialist, she may not be selected as a primary care physician.
